MHRT 109 and MHLC 109 CONDUCTED DRAWING COMPETITION FOR DIFFERENTLY ABLED CHILDREN
As part of the national initiative of Round Table India & Ladies Circle India ; MHLC 109 & MHRT 109 conducted ‘Tare Zameen Par’ painting competition for differently abled children at "KAUSHALA" Pre vocational centre which is a part of "SWASAHAYA SAMUCHHAYA" Parent’s association of mentally retarded and cerebral palsied children (Winner of Rita Peshawaria National Award for Best parent association 2003)Paints, crayons, sketch pens, pencils and sheets were provided to all the participants. All of them showed lot of enthusiasm when they saw all this and were ready to color.
One girl who is from this school is a National level Painting competition winner.Around 36 students participated in the competition. It was very good initiative by LCI and RTI which gave a nice opportunity for these students to expose their hidden talents and an opportunity for all of us to spend time with these lovely children.
To rejoice the day we gave all the kids Biscuit packs and Chocolate bars..All the participants were given the certificate of participation and the best 6 Drawings were awarded with prizes.

DIVALI NIGHT




LAMPS ALL AROUND, LADIES AND KIDS IN TRADITIONAL WEAR FIRECRACKERS SO WHAT IS IT ? IT IS DIWALI NIGHT SOCIALS.
AFTER A LOT MANY DAYS ALL GOT TOGETHER IN A LONELY BUNGALOW FOR THE DHOOM AND BOOM OF DIWALI LIGHT.
THE WONDERFUL GAMES ARRNAGED BY Cr ANU AND TR SRIKANTH KNEW NO BOUNDS TODIWALI QUIZ AND NEVER ENDING CR ANU’S MIND.
THE MEN WERE BUSY BUT SHE DREW THEM OUT OF THEIR CHATTING TO AN INTERESTING 1st GAME OF WIVES ARRANGING DIYAS ON THEIR HUSBANDS.
THIS WAS WON BY PALLAVI ADARSH AND NARATHA HARISH. THE NEXT Game WAS GUESSING THE NAME OF A MEMBER OF MHLC 109 AND WAS WON BY LAKSHMAN AND SANGEETHA. THE DIWALI QUIZ WAS WON BY SWAPNA SQ LEG ARUN’S WIFE. THE KIDS WERE ON THE CLOUD NINE. PRIZES AFTER PRISES WERE GIVEN FOR SUDOKU COMPETITION(WORD SEARCH GAME).

THE DELICIOUS FOOD AND THE HOT DOSA FILLED OUR TUMMIES AND THEN WE ALL SET BACK TO OUR DESTINATIONS AFTER A EXTRAVAGANT DIWALI BREAK.

KITE FESTIVAL


KITE, PATANG, GAALI PATTA ALL STATES CELEBRATE IT DIFFERENTLY,
MYSORE DID IT ON 31ST AUGUST,2008”..

“KAPIYO CHE” roars were heard in thr outskirts of Mysore.
The first flight took off for Tr. Santosh from MRT 21 followed by our very own Tr. Srikanth whose enthusiasm had no bounds.
Then came the entire team of MHRT 109 & MHLC 109 with the twinklers then there was no space for air in the sky. Enjoyment did not end till the kites soared high beyond sunlight.
The entangling of threads and the fellowship between table and circle reached its own fantasy world. Tablers and circlers from other 2 tables & circles from Mysore and guest tablers and circlers from Bangalore also participated and were all flyind kites..
“KITE AFTER KITE; REEL AFTER REEL; ROAR AFTER ROAR; WENT ON TILL STOMACH SAID“I AM HUNGRY”
THE SKY WAS COLOURFUL & WONDERFUL.
TWINKLERS WERE TWINKLING WITH SMALL KITES;
TABLERS WERE BUSY TABLING HUGE KITES;
CIRCLERS WERE CIRCLING BETWEEN TWINKLERS AND TABLERS.

ALL THIS WAS POSSIBLE ONLY BECAUSE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS OF OUR HOSTS ARUN AND SWAPNA . AN EVENING FULL OF COLOURS IN SKY ANS NOSTALGIA.

SRIRANGAPATNA SPORT FEST - 2008




District level sport fest was organized at T.M.Hosur, Srirangapatna taluk where MHRT-109 sponsored rolling trophy, sheild,cups and certificate at the cost of 15,300/-.Three big banners were put up around the campus , Had a huge publicity. The event was well organized by Tr.Ramchandra Gowda on29th Aug

INDEPENDENCE DAY



Independence was celebrated at adopted kukkarahalli school on 15th Aug 2008, by distributing bus passes, shoes and sweets jointly by MHRT-109 and MHLC-109 at the cost of Rs 22,000/-

MHRT 109 LOGO

The Logo of Mysore Heritage Round Table 109 was designed by Tr.Dinesh Pillai, the second chairman of MHRT 109. The logo is unique in design and concept with incorporation of the Round Table emblem and the Peacock symbol of Round Table India. In addition the table is place personalised by the addition of the Nandi Bull for which the city of Mysore is famous for.
The colour to the logo was done up by Tr.Srikanth to mark the remarkable day 08/08/08
